Timeless Bespoke Kitchen - Haslemere

Our clients Keith & Wendy wanted to bring a new lease of life into their existing kitchen which they inherited when they bought their property in Haslemere 15 years ago.

Over the years they had renovated the rest of the house and now it was time to update the kitchen. We went to work creating a bespoke timeless kitchen design that complemented the interior style of the rest of their home.

It was decided to keep to a classic shaker style but improve the layout and storage by clever use of cabinetry. The addition of modern appliances like the built in American fridge freezer keeps the style contemporary and the bespoke cabinetry means no gaps and a seamless flush look.

We wanted the island to stand out, so we introduced stained oak cabinets in a complimentary colour which worked well with the raw oak work surface. We also used the raw oak under the glazed wall cabinet to tie it in to the design.

To make the extractor cabinet a bit different we detailed a breakfront mantle design, this helped to breakup the run of wall cabinets. We installed hidden under cabinet lighting, we did this by extending the doors at the bottom for a light shelf. This means the lights are covered from view but still light up the underside of the wall cabinets beautifully.

The white quartz worktop has a slight fleck and adds light into the room and works really well with the porcelain floor.

This classic look with a twist of contemporary touches and stylish soft furnishings and touches by the client have made this room the centre of the home again for entertaining, relaxing and enjoying!
