We're excited to share a fantastic project Charter Walk completed in the summer as we wrap up a successful 2023. Our clients, who reside in a beautiful Georgian property in Haslemere, wanted a unique and classic mid-century bespoke kitchen design with modern and traditional features.
We combined modern and classic furniture styles in painted and natural timber finishes for this kitchen to achieve something different from anything we've produced before.
We utilised the existing chimney breast to house the fridge freezer and installed narrow cabinets on each side that mirrored the bold storage cabinets in the dining area. These cabinets are tied together by a stunning run of wall cabinets that flow across the back wall with a continuous oak grain, creating a cohesive and connected feel throughout the space.
The in-frame base cabinets, with antique brass Armac Martin handles, beautifully complement the flat wood timber finishes, adding a classic touch to the modern interior style. As the kitchen space is flooded with natural light from the large Georgian windows, we took the opportunity to use a bold and deep colour for the cabinetry. The base cabinets are painted in Farrow & Ball Studio Green, which has a rich and contemporary tone. The high marble splashback with bookmatched detailing adds to the seamless look of the space, and the natural limestone flagstone floor provides the perfect finish to the room.
We're grateful for your support and hope to face as much variety and challenges in 2024 as we did in 2023. Thank you once again.
