This incredible bespoke kitchen was our biggest project of 2022, which presented a fantastic opportunity to create something really unique. The brief was to maintain a modern yet oriental feel in this beautiful Georgian country manor house in Lynchmere, Surrey.
Collaborating with Allen Avery Interiors, we ensured that the blinds and wallpaper fabric blended seamlessly with the kitchen cabinet colour. The paint chosen was by sustainable nordic paint company Tikkurila in Tamarix K480 - this is a gorgeous muted brown colour with pink undertones.
We were fortunate that the client had already selected the marble worktop before the kitchen, which helped us to focus our attention on the kitchen layout. We kept clean lines and contemporary cabinet styling combined with Armac Martin door furniture to make the room feel spacious and relaxing.
The Aga was a central feature of the room, along with the Sub-Zero fridge and ovens. We provided ample storage for dry goods and space near the sinks for making tea, coffee, and breakfast, of course! The island is the primary area for food preparation and is situated in front of the double sink setup, which allows both chefs to work simultaneously. The island is also the perfect spot for guests to sit and observe the culinary hosts at work!
We oversaw the refurbishment of the entire kitchen and utility room. This involved laying a new floor and extensive work on the room's structure, including damp specialist work. We also installed new electrical and plumbing systems and carried out other joinery work.
