Our clients in Scotland Lane, Haslemere, wanted a bespoke kitchen that was bold and dramatic for their newly created kitchen space. We went to work in making sure we made a full impact in their beautiful home.
As part of this project they had extended their home. The existing smaller kitchen area became a study and they relocated the new kitchen into the extension. This created a fabulous open dining and living area with stunning views onto the Surrey Hills.
Given the light and openness of the space we were briefed to make sure the kitchen not only worked functionally but also retained a timeless look and classic details.
To deliver on the brief we handmade in-frame cabinets that were hand painted in a dark, dramatic blue complimented by 30mm polished Blue Pearl granite. The chrome bar handles, knobs, butt hinges and tap enhance the colours perfectly. This combination ensures this kitchen really makes an impact.
We detailed the Bora extractor hob in the island with the ovens located behind. The integrated fridge and freezer are on the other side of a small put down area in the middle of the tall cabinets. We maximised storage by adding a walk in pantry allowing all dry food to be stored in one large area which is a huge benefit to any kitchen.
The sink is centred under the window with plenty of worktop space either side. Two glazed, lit wall cabinets frame the window and provide the perfect place to store glassware and add depth to the design.
With the lovely high ceilings and beautiful soft furnishings and furniture in the rest of the room, our clients have achieved a stunning all round scheme that is truly timeless and a great space to live in for many years to come.
